About Us FEEL HAPPY WITH NATURE

SAMPARC Heritage Walk, A Glory of Maharashtra presents the rich history, heritage and cultural values of Maharashtra attracts global civil society by presenting Forts and Caves of Maval Taluka to draw attention of world’s eye. It experiences the vanity of colours immersed in lifestyle of different states of India as well how it is linked with a noble social cause which we can see from SAMPARC Heritage Walk 2018. It is an attempt to create process for enlisting Bhaje, Karla, Bedase Caves and Lohagad, Visapur Forts in UNESCO Heritage List.

It gives an opportunity to interact with participants from different walks of life and from varied corners of World. This 7.2 km walk really energizes all during the walk. This year we’re expecting more than 10000 participants to join who will have, the mass-energy that would be created through SAMPARC Heritage Walk. The initiative Heritage Walk by SAMPARC NGO ( https://samparc.org ) was started in the year 2016, with a vision to create awareness about the conservation and maintenance of Indian Heritage monuments and boost the livelihood of local villagers through tourism (CSR Activities sanctioned under Schedule VII of the Companies Act). Our mission is to enlist the heritage sites of Bhaje, Karla, Bedse Caves, Visapur , and Lohagad Fort (near Lonavala) in the UNESCO Heritage list. Since 2016, we have witnessed increased participation every year in the Heritage Walk due to the growing popularity and awareness of the need to protect our Heritage Monuments. Around 7000 corporate people, students, individuals, and families participate in the walk every year. The event is ideal for your esteemed organization to promote CSR activity on creating awareness about the maintenance and conservation of Heritage Sites among your employees. At the same time, the event will also help in boosting the livelihood of local villagers by promoting the site through tourism. Individuals/ Employees can enjoy spending a fun-filled day with their families on the lap of nature.

Latest experiences MAP & ROUTE INFO

The walk will begin from the sprawling green foothills of Bhaje caves. Bhaje is a group of 22 rock-cut caves dating back to 2nd century BC located near Lonavala. Protected by the Archeological Survey of India as a National Monument, it belongs to the Hinayana Buddhist Sect. At an altitude of 200 metres one can witness a lush waterfall with water plunging into the foothills.
